When the agency was first developing, C.E.O Nana Serwaa, made it her goal and mission to treat her clients and staff members as if they were her own family. Her primary concern is the physical and emotional well being of children. Nana’s vision was to match families with dedicated, responsible and reliable nannies
Nana Serwaa worked at Columbia Presbyterian hospital for 19 years in the OBGYN division. She has hands-on experience with elderly and infant care. Soon Nana built clientele from other first-time and experienced mothers. In 2006, she received great feedback that she provided gentle care and that is when Nana decided to call her business Tender Loving Nannies, Inc. The priority was not only her family needs, but also the well-being of their children. Nana started with a handful of nannies and had the opportunity to work with over 100 employees as the years went by. Nana knew how vital it was for employees to have care for their loved ones so she obtained corporate contracts to offer employers and their staff members back-up care. She continues to strive for TLN to be a highly recommended agency that is a part of International Nanny Association (INA) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
TLN continues to make many advances. We have a new office located on Wall Street in the Trump Towers to services all of the Fortune 500 companies, thus, continuing to extend our reach of care to families all over the tri-state area. We will embrace every family with love, care, responsibility, trust, and flexibility that will be setting a stage for a lifetime!
