Being a caregiver at TLN will allow you use the qualities that you possess within. You must first recognize, at all times, that this is a job that requires attentiveness and to use your better judgment. At TLN, we always say take care of a client just as you would look after a beloved family member or yourself. You must be a reliable, trustworthy person and always maintain confidentiality. Clients want to be comfortable and secured with leaving their loved ones behind without any concerns and that is what we do here at TLN. We are all a team and no one is more important than the other. We all come together as one to make sure that the clients are #1. Here is additional information that will help in your process in becoming a TLN caregiver.
Qualifications for Being a TLN Caregiver
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Possess 2 or more years of experience in childcare, elderly companionship (must have certificate in HHA/CNA) or infant care
- Read and write in English
- Must speak fluent English, any others languages will be a great asset
- Resume
- Show proof of permit to work in the U.S. or citizenship
- Driver’s License, passport, and/or State I.D
- Up-to-date physical
- Valid Social Security card
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Have 2 or more professional and personal references
- Agree and pass our extensive background check/drug test
- Willing to be trained at Center for Children’s Initiatives
- Attend all In-services by TLN
